Fear of long words, ironically called Hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia, or Sesquipedalophobia, is one of the weird phobias that people suffer when they simple have a persistent and irrational fear for long words. Statistics don’t show how many people suffer from this phobia. However, it is in fact a phobia that along with fear of clowns, fear of dentists, fear of success, ergophobia or many more, affects a considerable amount of people in the whole world.
